I remember no reading after Msi one crippled my EVGA card (precision uses the SAME API ) so it ultimately shouldn't matter which u used, but i definitely remember MSI readme saying they took away ability to OC from certain Version # onward, but u can check yourself. It has the ability to override your graphics and turn hardware on and off in situations where u don't want itįind the README.txt file that comes with any programs you used. Nvidia driver updates always screwed up my 1060 and i found most updates would do that so if you can, find the original, also Gsync and such are examples of overriding your settings. And Nvidia control panel should have spot where you can allow specific processes (games for example) to use whatever settings their configured to use for optimization. Windows and your browser have super powers over resources. Start by resetting it all to default, especially if you installed software and left stuff tweeked.
